The Story

Built by someone who
kept falling off too.

Cicerone didn't start as a product. It started as a personal fix for a frustrating gap: knowing exactly what to do, and still not doing it.

On the road at sunset

The work is quiet and daily. The momentum is the reward.

For years I was the person with the perfect plan and none of the follow-through. I could explain dopamine, habit loops, and identity change better than most. My notes app was a museum of systems I never ran for more than two weeks.

The pattern was always the same. Find a promising system, set it up, feel unstoppable for a week, miss a day, spiral into guilt, abandon it, and wait for the next shiny thing. The problem was never a lack of information. It was that none of those systems were built for the moment I inevitably fell off.

So I stopped collecting protocols and started building the structure that would make me run them.

That structure became Cicerone. Named after the guide who walks beside the traveler, it is the opposite of a hype machine. It connects a clear mission to daily action, replaces motivation with evidence you can't argue with, and treats falling off as a normal step with its own protocol, not a failure that resets everything.

Today Cicerone is two things: a self-guided method you can use right now, and an app on the way. Both exist for the same reason I needed it, to close the distance between the person you already know how to be and the one you actually are, day after day.

The Mission

To help people close the gap between knowing and doing, with a system that is precise enough to trust and forgiving enough to keep.
